About the Press

NeucitePress Books is a peer-reviewed scholarly press publishing edited volumes, monographs, textbooks and conference proceedings in medicine, the life sciences and applied research.

Every title moves through a named editorial workflow: commissioning, an Editor-in-Chief appointed per book, structured chapter-level peer review, copyediting and production. The public catalogue shows each book's true state — from open call to published — and chapters can be read individually once a book is published.

Open access

Books and chapters may use open or restricted access, as agreed with the press. The applicable licence and access conditions are displayed on each published item. Open-access chapters can be read or downloaded in the formats released for that chapter; availability may differ within a book.

Indexing and identifiers

Book records carry full bibliographic metadata (Google Scholar and Dublin Core tags, OAI-PMH), and ISBNs and DOIs are assigned on publication.
